San Andrés from El Salvador is one of our highlights this year. A first time purchase and delightfully tasty, the skill and dedication applied to this lot radiate from the cup. Produced by husband and wife team José Alfredo Recinos and Roxana Noemí Gutierrez, their farm is located in the coffee lands of Chalatenango and is named after their son Andrés. José Alfredo and Roxana started their business in 2002 and it is only in 2013 that they turned their focus to speciality coffee. Experimenting with natural and honey processing, José Alfredo is in charge of farm management and processing while Roxana oversees the drying process and works closely with their seasonal team. Growing Bourbon and Pacas and Pacamara, José Alfredo and Roxana work meticulously to develop and enhance the processing and quality of their coffee year on year. Complex, sweet and oh so lovely San Andrés is one to enjoy on repeat.
